This week I’m happy to announce the publication of my novella Behind the Walls . It is about a canny, resourceful young Catholic boy, the girl he befriends and the courage they find to create a future of their own despite their personal difficulties and hardships. Behind the Walls is flavoured with an element of medieval mystery and is inspired by a rich sense of the past which still resonates in the streets surrounding Newcastle’s City Walls where I was born and brought up. Something that you've shared with me that has really resonated my whole life, is:
"Act upon inspired thoughts"
If you've thought it, then do it! Listen to that little voice inside, pay attention to apparent to coincidences. As these are actually signs that can guide you. Perhaps a wake up call, take notice, tune in. It's happening for a reason. Research the meaning and maybe it will strike a chord, or resonate with you.
A way to recognise it in retrospect is if something happens and you thought "I knew I should have done that"
If you sneeze, " what's got up your nose?"
If an animal keeps crossing your path, look up the meaning.
If a number keeps popping up, for you, see what is means.
It might be a sign to guide you. ❤️
